The two first crossed paths at a mutual job but it wasn’t until Dani and Mike hung out with mutual friends that they talked and hit it off! Fast forward to last Christmas where they were putting up Christmas lights on their tree when Mike knew it was the perfect time to propose. When Dani had her back to him looking at the lights he got on one knee and asked her to marry him! 

Dani and Mike live in the foothills of Sunol and wanted to document their engagement in the place that is a special place to them. I love that when couples choose spots close to their heart because later in life they will be able to remember why it was special through the photos. What I didn’t know was how beautiful the property the live on is! When your backyard is this beautiful you don’t need to go anywhere else. From barns to rolling hills its got it all and a perfect sneak to their ranch wedding later this year.
