The two met at UC Davis when they both were in Marching Band. While they had group get togethers to bond with bandmates Katie and Tyler were in the same group. This made it so they just so happened to be hanging out. The two of them connected instantly. When it was time when Tyler wanted to propose he knew he wanted to make it personal. While trying to get Katie’s friends in on it, they all tried to slying to get Katie to miss class (which she wouldn’t do easily.) When she went home to their new place Tyler had setup a beautiful proposal for her! Ofcourse she said yes!

Lake Tahoe is a special place for Katie and Tyler since Katie has been going to the area since she was a kid with her family. Once the two started dating Tyler joined her family on these trips and created a special spot for them. We started in the forest with views of the lake and then headed to Sand Harbor for the prettiest views and bluest water. Check out some of my favorites from the session and I cannot wait until their big day next year at Scribner Bend!
