The two met on a camping trip in the desert. (Also known as Burning Man) Leland and Kelly had mutual friends so they were hanging out on more than one occasion as a group when Leland thought to himself, “this girl is pretty awesome.” They started dating and the rest is history.

We started the engagement session at Bernal Heights in San Francisco. This was actually the spot where Leland proposed to Kelly, where she said a lot of happy tears happened. They wanted the engagement photos in the city where their love started and the whole session was just amazing. The two have such great chemistry and are the cutest ever. There was so much smiling and laughing and I think I was smiling behind the camera with them! Thanks so much Leland and Kelly for letting me document this exciting time in your lives!

So for the two of them, one of things that special to them is Leland always is picking and giving Kelly flowers. I loved capturing that part of their relationship.

We then headed to Marshall’s Beach for some beautiful views of the ocean and the Golden Gate.
