I got the privilege to shoot my awesome wedding coordinator friend, Renée and her fiancé Scott, in Big Sur.  She is the heart and soul of Mariee Weddings and is so amazing at what she does! Check her out if you haven’t yet. 🙂

The two of them met through mutual friends. It took about 6 months of missed opportunities until the timing was right and they started dating.  5 years later Scott took Renée on a weekend trip to Monterey. They ended up hiking at Garapatta State Park and Scott found the perfect spot and the most gorgeous backdrop to ask Renée to Marry him! We decided to take a trip back to Big Sur where they got engaged to shoot their engagements. I don’t think we could have asked for a better day! The weather was beautiful and I loved hanging out with the two of them all day. I can’t wait until their wedding in October!

We started the engagement shoot at the Iconic Bixby Bridge and headed our way up the coast.
