Trip To The Sierras

Back in October with no snow in sight Zach and I made a trip up to the Sierras by Kirkwood. The trip didn’t go as planned as we were running out a gas, no phone service and no gas station in sight ended up heading all the way to Tahoe just to gas up. We then headed back down, thinking our day was pretty much over when we found this beautiful lake. Even with the hiccup earlier in the day it ended up being such a perfect day to relax and take in the beautiful weather. Now to plan our next adventure and I hope you do too!

Film shot on Ektar 100, Fuji 400h and Portra 800 and scanned by Photovision Prints

I love trying to get some photos of Zach and I since I’m always the one behind the camera but forgot my tripod on this trip! I ended up using my balancing skills for my camera on stumps and rocks. I think it worked out pretty well!
