How would you describe your style?

My style is more lifestyle and editorial combined. I will capture all your details for the day and the bridal party in more of an editorial feel, but allow a lot of aspects of the day to unfold naturally like the preparation, ceremony, and mingling during cocktail hour.  love capturing each couple with the lifestyle feel in mind.  My goal is to document your love for each other, since it is unique.

What equipment do you use?
We shoot on professional Canon camera bodies and lenses for digital images, and a Contax 645 with an 80mm Zeiss lens with film. Both create beautiful images but remember it is the artist behind the camera that creates the images not the camera.

Do you travel to Photograph Weddings?

We love to travel for weddings! Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are not having a wedding in California.

What if I have never been in front of the camera before?

Not a problem! Most people before their engagement and wedding day haven't and it is my job to make sure you feel comfortable. I have a lot of different ways of doing that but just being yourselves will create the best images.

What time will the session take place?

I prefer to shoot with natural light to capture that soft, beautiful glow on the subjects.  The best time of the day for portrait sessions is the early morning and the late afternoon.  Depending on the season, this time is the two hours after sunrise and before sunset. For your wedding day it is really important when we take bride and groom portraits. I'd love to help with your timeline to make sure there is the best possible time for photo's and fun.

When will the pictures be ready?

Portrait photos will be ready 3 to 4 weeks after your session.  Wedding photos are the exception, and can take up to 2 months depending on the time of the year.

How do we inquire and what is the booking process?

Just send me an email via my form here  and we will start chatting more about your wedding. We'll set up a coffee date / video call to talk about your wedding and so I can answer any questions you have about wedding coverage or my photography. If you decide to book, I just ask for a signed contract and a retainer to hold the date. The rest of the balance is not due until 2 weeks before the wedding date.
